I just thought I would take a few minutes to reflect upon the UN and all the wonderful things that they stand for:
The UN is this huge gathering of compassionate nations that believe in human rights for all (hey, they appointed Libya as the head of the Human Rights Committee didn't they? That means they obviously have a sense of humor).
They believe in
International Day of Disabled Persons,
Universal Day of Children,
World Food Day,
World Day for Water, (hee, hee)
Disarmament Week, and
International Day of Solidarity With the
Palestinian People(which was going to be
International Victims of Terrorism Day...but, I think you can see the conflict here, so they chose the most important of the two).
All these little treatises on "goodness", "moderation", and "love" are proof that the UN is a benevolent organization.
Isn't it?
That they took the time to sit around, collect outrageous salaries while aids burned up their word processors with these little lip-service resolutions proves that they care about the world.
It's not about what they do for you. It's how they
feel about you.
And they care! They uphold your human rights.
Don't they?
Certainly.
As long as practicing your rights doesn't interfere with a UN mandate.
They believe in you. They
care about you and your people.
The UN believes in all people living as one under the UN... or else.
They believe that mandates of the UN are to be followed regardless of what your country's constitution says.
They believe that the UN Criminal Court should be allowed to try US and other country's soldiers as war criminals if they participate in conflicts not sanctioned by the UN (really, what nation needs to decide what it's armies are best used for?).
They believe that your money (those evil dollars and pounds) should be used to feed people who hate you, who kill your fellow citizens because of who they are, who burn poorly made replicas of your nation's flag, who dance in the street when your countrymen die, who drag your dead servicemen through the streets, who kill aid workers that come to deliver them food purchased with your money and grown by your countrymen.
It doesn't matter that these people are hungry because they are too caught up in killing each other for obscure tribal causes to learn new methods of crop growing, irrigation, and rotation.
It doesn't matter that they are too busy replicating to realize they can't feed the children they have before they create new ones.
Why should they try to help themselves? They have you to rely upon. They don't need to better their countries, or even try to better themselves.
The UN will take care of them.
The UN has created the largest and most expansive welfare state that could have ever been dreamed.
It is feeding, clothing, and supporting the armies and ruthless dictators of shit-hole countries that want nothing more than to see the deaths of innocent people.
As it should.
And as a good American, your tax dollars are going by the billions to suppor these benevolent ventures.
All that matters is the UN cares.
Doesn't it?
They UN wants a perfect world, a loving world. A world of free everything for everyone.
So open your wallet. Surrender your freedom and power for self-determination to the UN.
They know what is best for you.
Who else would have stood by and wept while thousands were killed in Bosnia and Rwanda, refusing to lift a finger?
Who else would welcome
baby killers with open arms and bursting hearts of
forgiveness?
Who else would provide funding to those poor, downtrodden Palestinian children and supply them with
fun, Jew-killing action at
summer camp?
Who else would stand up to those evil Americans and just say "no" when they want to look after their national interests.
Who else has the guts to thumb their noses at that bigot Uncle Sam as they unload ton after ton of American grown grain, rice, and corn, and hand out billions of American dollars to the vicitims of US imperialism?
You see, the UN cares. The UN loves you. The UN weeps when you are in pain.
Don't they?
Of course they do.
Unless you are an Israeli, Jew, Brit, or
American.
